New Zealand!How do I enter the contest?
Share your thoughts, ideas, musings and inspirations at the Member Forum. There's no limit to entries, so share ideas often for more chances to win.
What can you win?
Seven winners will receive an original piece of artwork created by our Artists in Residence in the form their various mediums of art: music, photography, print making or poetry. Of these seven winners, one grand prize winner will win a trip for two to New Zealand.
How will winners be chosen?
From October 2009 through January 2010, four of the featured Artists in Residence will review consumer posts on the Member Forum for artistic inspiration. Every two weeks, one of the Artists in Residence will select a post as the inspiration to create an original work of art, resulting in seven original pieces.
From those seven pieces, Mateo Messina will choose the most inspiring to win a trip for two to experience the innovative spirit of New Zealand.
Who is eligible to win?
Any registered member of The Artists' Lounge community who is a U.S. resident (except in California and Tennessee) and who shares their inspiration with us via the Member Forum.
Who are the Artists in Residence?
Kim Crawford is working four emerging artists who represent the creative spirit of our brand. Learn more at the Artists in Residence page.
Where and when will winners be announced?
The collection of art resulting from the Artists in Residence will be unveiled as the Kim Crawford Wines' "Vintage 2009" through a virtual gallery opening within The Artists' Lounge in the spring of 2010.

Title – Fence Line
This shot says home to me. It is literally the road home. Once my truck leaves pavement and hits the dirt road I feel my shoulders relax and my breath slow. It is so important to me to have "space" and this photo embodies that for me personally.

Artist in Residence and printmaker Dan Grzeca will be using this inspiration to create an original print to reflect Julie’s sentiments, which will be revealed in the Vintage 2009 Collection.
Our first winner, Silverwoody will be receiving an original photo by Artist in Residence Gary Heller.
Our second winner, JenC, will be receiving an original poem by Artist in Residence Emily Kagan Trenchard
